Okay, let’s face it for once. Being a heavyweight Brand Specialist requires a lot more than extensive education, straight A’s in all your Economy and Sociology training courses, and perfect memorization of all of American Marketing Association Dictionary lemmas. In fact, being a heavyweight Brand Specialist doesn’t require any of those (although truly remarkable) things. No, it requires being steeped into the very secret knowledge, the Lore of Brand Specialists. There is much that the mere designer does not know. There is much that the mere Brand Manager cannot grasp. Only who is willing to devote his life to the mysterious intricacies of the Marketing Discipline as a whole, can hope to one day reach the nirvana, the pinnacle of knowledge, the celebrated gurudom, that is the Marketing Director.
I do really hope you value eclectic interdisciplinary approaches…
